Cat Stevens to take legal action

Odd British usage of the word “instructed”:

Ex-singer Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens, says he has instructed lawyers after being refused entry to the US.

Clearly Islam doesn't realise that he's not the issue, but the moon shadow that follows him.

Actually, it's standard British usage. Although "lawyers" isn't. One would expect that Mr. Islam's soliciter has instructed a barrister who will bring suit....

Wow, look at that, it seems Kearns is just having a conversation with himself. Clearly two people with the same name obviously would not be confused as being one person.... Clearly.
