ISO Burning

InfraRecorder is a free CD/DVD burning solution for Microsoft Windows. It offers a wide range of powerful features; all through an easy to use application interface and Windows Explorer integration.

They forgot to mention their sense of humor:

Burn baby, burn!

Note: ISO in question? Ubuntu 7.10 Desktop, hopefully running on a few PCs throughout the house soon...

I'm currently using MagicISO as it handles the ISO creation and it allows you to mount an ISO virtually instead of requiring you to burn it. That's what I'm using it for the most. It's great for installing MS products from MSDN downloads. A little looking around some of the software sites I check out made Alcohol 52% sound perfect, but I already had a working solution so I didn't bother checking it out.

Can't mount this one, I'm installing Ubuntu on another computer...

Sure, sure, but why have two apps if you can have one that satisfactorily provides all the functionality you need (or might possibly need) ignoring the fact that you've already started the burning process? Mainly I was just checking to see if you had checked out other ISO apps and found this one to be the bee's knees.

You hadn't mentioned that your "MagicISO" could burn ISOs.

I just downloaded the one that Ubuntu recommended...

I thought I had mentioned that. Oh well...now that I'm digging through the description, it seems as though MagicISO can be purchased which makes me think that either it's burning or ripping functionality must be unlocked. Sounds like InfraRecorder is probably the best solution for ripping and burning while MagicISO can be used for mounting ISOs free of charge.
