Be a world citizen

Read some Tintin...

At least be familliar with the concept. Once you are done there, make certain you've heard of Asterix and Obelisk too.

I do know about Asterix and Obelisk but I hadn't heard about Tintin until today. I really need to get a library card so I can check out some of the books that I wouldn't normally buy.

I second Asterix and Obelisk and add my personal favorites Mortadelo y Filemon, from Spain.

I was growing up reading Tintin, Asterix and Obelix (my older brother hated it everytime I call him Obelix, due to his round figure and his fondness of pinstripe pants), Steven Sterk, Lucky Luke and many more.

All of those mentioned above were translated to Indonesian, later on I started to read them in English and French (Ast & Obl), but IMO, they're not as humorous as the Indonesian version.

Miss reading them again, it's hard to acquire some copies here in US. Viva la Capt. Haddock! (and his cursing, too!)
