It depends. We're a small shop, and I think that provides some flexibility.

ColdFusion is one of the big skills we need, hopefully with a desire to learn .NET, as that's where we're headed.

We don't pay the best around, but we greatly encourage continued learning, and try to help that end all we can (unlike some shops that expect you to know 100% for the job, and don't want to pay you to increase your skills)
