I didn't want to push too soon but yes, if you have an addiction like mine then you need all the major consoles to truly game-geek out. As far as exclusive titles go though, I think Halo and Advent Rising are the only things the XBox has going for it. Did I miss any?

What exactly is the irresistible draw to Tork?

Basically Play magazine gave it a great review. The reviewer had picked this game as "Game of E3" in 2002, plus this boosts the XBox's Exclusive platformer quotient and the price drops have brought XBox down to a attractive TCO per platformer.

In specific Tork, Voodoo vince, Blinx (1 & 2).

Throw in Fable and Sudeki and you have a very compelling reason to drop $1.25

Now factor in Halo, Halo 2, and Grabbed by the Goonies...

(OK, I'm kidding about Grabbed by the Goonies, but maybe Conker, eh?)

Oh, and I forgot to mention about Tork, UBI is publishing this "Tiwak" title, but won't be doing that again since they bought Tiwak outright and it's now a division of UBISoft...

OK, you out-geeked me on the Tiwak reference.

As for the other exclusives you mentioned...Grabbed by the Goonies was actually kind of fun to play. Granted I was only playing the game at a station in BestBuy but it seems at least as much fun as Luigi's Haunted Mansion. LHM was more of a glorified tech demo for the GC, but it was definitely in the renter category.

Isn't Conker a bit mature for children?

Yes, Conker is a bit mature for children, but last time I checked I was 35...

The Tiwak thing was straight outta the Play magazine, you really should read it, it's much better than the same old same old you get from EGM and the like...
