I've switched...

to Bloglines:

Create a personal Bloglines page loaded with the freshest news about the things you love.

I wrote my own system, but keeping it running smoothly takes more effort and time than I can spare. Bloglines has everything I need: central control, mobile version, notification system, etc.

I've even found that exporting my subscriptions as an OPML file which can drive my "blogroll" listing on this site.

Update: Joe Grossberg has just noticed that I've switched to the Green party as well.

I don't like the mobile version much, though. If you click through to a link everything for that grouping (blog/group/whatever) gets marked as read. I also wish you could have sub-groups.

Having said that, I love bloglines. I do wish a good aggregator would implement the API, though. Having a desktop client would still be nice.

Well, the Republicans have clearly shifted from what they once were, and I find I no longer agree with much of what they say. And the Democrats are untrustworthy and almost always disagree with what I say (with a few exceptions).

This leaves me with Green.

I still find that I disagree with some of their positions, but I can fully support their [url=http://web.greens.org/etc/gpusa-values2k.html]core values[/url].

Plus I'm a tree-hugger from way back...

As it turns out, I'm Neo-libertarian and after reading the description at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neo-libertarian I'd have to say I agree but unlike some people (Blerry) I'm not one who enjoys discussing politics.
