Is it just me or is anyone else scared? I was really excited and confident that remaking this classic could be a good idea. However, after seeing the trailer I'm not so sure any more.

Really? I get the opposite from this.

I hate when I see remakes attempt to recreate an original (unless the original is very very old like Sabrina).

It seems to me that they took the book and went from there, and Depp's style and Burton's style fit with Dahl much better, IMHO. (Though I do love the "original" movie)
