Just 4 days away, and I'm getting excited

Battlestar Galactica is set to return, and apparently they've done quite the job. However, it's already clear that it's not just a redo of the old version that I loved so much, as Starbuck and Boomer are now women (and Boomer is a bit of a hottie, if you'll pardon the expression).

It does appear that there is many voices that would condem this version before it even airs, but I think I'll be watching anyway.

Update: In his own right, the original Boomer was no slouch either. Not Starbuck, but no slouch.

So, what did you think of part I? I thought it was excellent, although I thought it went a bit slow until the second hour.

None-the-less, it was pretty good, and I think it'd make a really good TV series.

Nice. Very nice.

There were enough throwbacks to the original to make me happy.
Very creative use of visuals and camera angles.
Very plausable back story for condition of the Battlestar heading towards where the story needs to go.
Boomer is hot.
Vipers are sweet.
Cylons are cool looking.
Edward James Olmos is an outstanding acting force.
And did I mention that Boomer is hot?

I've just finished part 2, and I'm shocked.

Not only were many of the rumors about drastic changes in the plot (from the original) like no 13th tribe, but there's quite a shocker at the end, which I won't spoil here.

I can't wait for the next part.
